I just had a great evening chatting with a ragtag collection of clever and amusing people on Google Hangout.
Remember a few weeks back I told you about SPIFFING? Well, he and a few other Point & Clickstarters had a live online chat to round out the last four hours of the Bolt Riley campaign (another Point-&-Clickstarter), and invited me along for the ride.
The event was hosted by Oded Sharon (@SoundGuy), creator/developer of Bolt Riley, attempting to gather together the highest number of adventure gamers in one place. Here’s who attended, plus links to their campaigns:
There were plenty of others there too, but in the five minutes I just spent trying to figure out Google Hangouts, I couldn’t find a list of attendees. They were all very nice though. If you were there, let me know and I’ll happily add you!
I learned during this chat that I’m indirectly responsible for almost killing Steven. See, he recently had a kidney transplant, and during recovery he decided to play Hector to pass the time. He says Hector made him laugh so hard he nearly popped his stitches several times. (Imagine the PR we could have gotten from that… if only we’d known!)
You can watch the whole video here, all four hours of it. The first hour is very amusing, because I’m in it. I also appear extremely rude because for some reason Steven’s video and audio weren’t coming through to me, so whenever he was speaking I kept hearing all these awkward silences and felt the need to fill them. Sorry again, Steven!
