Rachel Dixon Awarded Creative Animation Funding for "Stan by Me"

Italic Pig is proud to announce that Rachel Dixon has been successful in her bid for Creative Animation funding with Northern Ireland Screen! This allows her to start production on her short film ‘Stan by Me’ with our talented team at the studio.

Despite being lifelong neighbours, Mervin and Stan couldn't be further apart. They're both getting on in years but Mervin still has a lot to learn about himself, life and companionship in this senior-citizen 'coming of age' story. With some unwanted help and perseverance from his new friend, Mervin discovers that aging isn't always straightforward for everyone and that Stan isn't really so different after all.
