We create sarcastically epic, narrative-driven adventures for all ages, and occasionally win awards for said adventures. Come, have a look…

The Infinite hotel

Italic Pig is jumping headfirst into the virtual reality arena with the successful award of a €125 000 grant from Creative Europe Media.

The irreverent team was granted the award with their proposal for a new “vertical reality” adventure entitled The Infinite Hotel.

The Infinite Hotel concept pitch boasts the creation of a narrative-driven, immersive VR game combining elements of popular, award-winning games like Job Simulator, Papers Please, and Grim Fandango… “all from inside a 5-foot square.”

This project is currently in development and seeking publishing partners.

Slate Funding

Italic Pig recently received Slate Funding from Northern Ireland Screen to explore the potential of 10 projects including VR, console and 2D animation properties. Several of these concepts are long-standing ideas of Director Kevin Beimers BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. Not sure what to say about them as I’m sure we want to still be a bit vague. We also have the option of listing them individually.

These projects are in early development.

Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark

Schrödinger’s Cat is a fun, frantic, wacky and colourful puzzle-laden platform game, set in a unique and quirky quantum physics world. There’s chaos at the Particle Zoo! What used to be a cheery theme-park environment is now overrun with hungry leptons, sticky-fingered gluons and massive, stubborn bosons.

The Zoo is put on lockdown, and the emergency services are called in to sort everything out. Those emergency services? Schrödinger’s Cat, of course! Combine and create useful bits of temporary matter to help you combat and subdue all the subatomic critters running amok, and help Schrödinger’s Cat work out how they all got out of their cages in the first place.

Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark has been released and available for purchase on Steam, XBox and PS2.

MONA LISA

When Leonardo speaks of Mona Lisa as his greatest creation, he's not talking about the painting... he's actually talking about the girl.
Mona Lisa happens to be a sleek and graceful robot built by Leonardo da Vinci, specifically for the purposes of art thievery and art forgery.

The original Mona Lisa project was made possible with a grant from the Creative Europe Media Fund and match funding from Northern Ireland Screen.

This project is currently transitioning from a freemium platformer game into a full-length feature animation.
